Beaumont Team News

The Beaumont team travelled to Rookery Park for their quarter final tie
On completion of all, four matches the result was a tie
This led to a play off hole
Simon Donnolly and Danny Lumley took up the challenge
With both tee shots off to right the Rookery Park players took their shots with one slightly left and the other down the middle
Both second shots from Simon and Danny found the green but as it had been all day neither ball held and run off
Rookery Park played their second shots and one found its way on to the green to leave a ten foot putt
Neither Simon or Danny were able to get near the hole and both missed return putts
This left  Rookery Park an easy two putt to win the hole and the match
The Beaumont team Captained by Neville Proctor was Simon Donnolly Mick Hurley Danny Lumley Steve Brough Jon Dewey Ken Burbridge Keith Ribbans and Peter Robinson
Overall the team played well on an away course and were very unlucky not to,win
A big thank you to Terry and Jo Bright who travelled to,support the team all the way through the day
